About

Who we are – Established in 1940 as a regional voluntary organisation, Boys & Girls Clubs NI has transformed into a leading youth work charity with a membership of 120 local youth organisations. Our mission is to support the personal development and social education of children & young people and to promote good relations and community development. We aim to: “REACH out to all young people to INVOLVE and enable them to ENJOY and ACHIEVE together…”

What we do – Each year we work directly with 2500 children, young people, volunteers & youth workers. Indirectly, we support a youth network that engages with 48000 stakeholders on an annual basis. We deliver membership support services, training, networking opportunities, policy guidance, youth projects, and an extensive programme of youth activities. We have an office base in Belfast with most of our work happening in local voluntary youth clubs and schools in which we support.
