✨ DO SOMETHING HEALTHY CELEBRATION EVENT ✨The “Do Something Healthy Programme,” funded by Radius Housing, began in July 2023 and has made a significant impact on young people across various communities. 112 young people participated in OCN Level 1 or 2 Healthy Living or OCN Level 1 or 2 Youth Work Practice, while 190 others participated in an Accredited Youth Work programme of Good Relations, Participation, Living in Safety & Stability, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, or Health & Wellbeing. The participants carefully selected these courses to meet their specific needs. Additionally, they all completed job skill programmes across 10 key areas, including:• Derry/Londonderry• Coleraine• Portstewart• Belfast (two locations)• Ballymena• Omagh• Cookstown• Dungannon• NewryThe success of the programme is largely attributed to the dedication and hard work of the young people and youth workers involved. Their commitment resulted in remarkable achievements.To celebrate their accomplishments, a special Celebration Event was held at The Voco Hotel in Belfast on 27th September 2024.
