Boys & Girls Clubs are pleased to be able to offer our members First Aid training at competitive prices.
We run regular courses open to individual bookings throughout the year, but if you are interested please contact the office, and if the demand is great enough we can organise additional courses.
Alternatively, if you have enough people from your Club to run a full course, get in touch and we can organise a course at your Club.

Emergency First Aid at Work
(6 hour practical course)
£50.00 per person – Minimum number for a course = 8
Can be run over 2 evening sessions
It is vital that First Aid support is available at all times. This one-day course gives grounding in the basic principles of First Aid, enabling life to be preserved and minor accidents to be dealt with. The course can be tailored to specific settings and complies with HSE Approval. Students also gain an NVQ Level 2 award. Participants will learn – How to deal with an emergency situation, recovery position, CPR, choking, control of bleeding, shock, major illnesses including epilepsy and anaphylactic shock, burns, fractures, sprains and strains.
Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator
(4 hour course – no previous first aid experience needed)
£50 per person – Minimum number for a course = 8
Participants will learn about dealing with an emergency situation, CPR, AEDs and using them on a casualty. They will have a chance to use a training defibrillator.
