Stay Safe Stay Out
Below is a letter from the STAY SAFE campaign reminding us all to remember to pass on the message “Stay Safe Stay Out”.
We are writing to you to ask you to support our national safety campaign which
aims to warn young people about the dangers of trespassing in disused or active
quarries. With the current COVID19 Emergency this years campaign has taken on
added significance with most children off school and the added temptation of
warm and sunny weather.

COVID-19-Keeping-Children-and-Adults-Safe-Factsheet
Due to the Coronavirus crisis social distancing and self-isolation are a priority. This means children and adults are spending more time at home and, for some, this brings increased risks. Risks change as circumstances change. The current situation may place increased demands on families, place stress on relationships, bring financial worries and all of these factors can increase the likelihood of abuse. For this reason keeping children and adults safe must also be a priority.
