🌍 UYI Capacity Building in Action 🌍As part of the training element of the UYI Programme, our Training & Development Officer, Josie, has been working with two fantastic groups - St Teresa’s Youth Centre (Andersonstown) and Blackmountain Action Group (Springmartin), West Belfast.Participants are completing the OCN Level 2 Award in Diversity and Good Relations, building knowledge, skills and confidence through discussion and shared learning.📘 Last night's session....• Peer support and booklet catch-up• Group feedback using the World Café method• Interactive games and discussion🧩 Key themes revisited:Diversity in society, culture, religion, beliefs and practices, respect and tolerance, the impact of exclusion and the positive contributions and advantages of living in a diverse society.✨ Bringing groups together to train in good relations and diversity plays a vital role in strengthening understanding, trust and connection. This approach helps create more peaceful and cohesive communities where young people can thrive, leaving a lasting legacy that continues well beyond the lifetime of a funded programme.Well done all 🥰 ...
