During the COVID-19 pandemic, with the absence of normal face to face activities, organisations are having to look at alternative ways of communicating with the children and young people, including online. Organisations are using lots of different methods to stay connected such as text messaging, email and video calls. However, communication via these means brings safeguarding challenges that must be managed. A free 6 hour ‘Keeping Children Safe Training’ course will be held for Boys & Girls Clubs members at our Belfast Offices this April.
The course supports staff and volunteers interested in learning about or revising their knowledge of safeguarding practices when working with young people.
